Creating Processes Using Drag-and-Drop
Processes can be modeled either horizontally or vertically. You can decide which way you want to use when creating a process. Create a new process by dragging it from the gallery and dropping it in a diagram.

Processes can be modeled either horizontally or vertically. You can decide which way you want to use when creating a process.
How to proceed
- Click in the BPMN diagram.
The Design tab is shown in the Create Diagram Content gallery.
- Depending on the modeling direction, drag a horizontal
or vertical 
process from the Create Diagram Content gallery and drop it in the BPMN diagram.
A new process is created in the diagram. The name of the process is automatically selected to be edited.
- Enter the name for the process and confirm with the [Enter] key.
